And that does not refer to me being in Russia discerning religious life. I know what I'm doing in that respect.
So I was in my room in the new building (we are moving over there slowly) putting together a wardrobe with one of the parishioners. He's a good man, hard working, humble, outgoing, etc.
Well I realized my room is about half the size of his apartment (not counting his kitchen and bathroom). But he has a wife. And 5 children. And they all live there. And then I thought to myself, "what the hell am I doing living basically in the lap of luxury (comparitively speaking), while far harder workers with families are in apartments with no washing machine, sometimes no hot water, . . . ?"
